your guide to xplr

  • Launching a new business or refreshing your brand identity can feel like a mountain too big to climb all by yourself. But here's the thing - you don't need to go it alone. And really, going it alone is probably one of the reasons why you're here in the first place. For over seven years, I've helped go-getters and rule-breakers ignite their inner wild through adventurous branding and design.

Now, it's your time to shine. You bring the map. I’ll be the guide. Together, we’ll craft a head-turning brand worth sharing a celebratory beer over!

  • That old standard across large agencies is to deliver anywhere from 2-6 options to a client for a brand identity project, and then the client chooses the option they like best. With the One Concept Method, we deliver one, fully flushed out concept to the client.

There are lot of reasons that XPLR Studios follows the One Concept Method, the primary one being we truly believe that this is the best strategy for creating a successful, strategic brand identity.

Have questions? Let us know during our intro call and we’ll happily answer anything!

  • Squarespace is my go-to recommendation for all service- and most product-based businesses. Not only does it have tons of flexibility on the design side, but it’s also extremely easy to manage and update moving forward. Squarespace has the ability to add plug-ins for pretty much anything you need - reservations, donations, you name it. It also has robust blog and e-commerce capabilities.

If you are a primarily product-based business with an extensive catalog, Shopify might be the better option for your business. During our intro call we can weigh out the pros and cons and work together to find the solution that will set you up for success.

  • All you! After your final invoice is paid, I'll shoot over the final files and project assets. I'll still retain ownership of all preliminary work (i.e., initial sketches, unused concepts, mockups) plus the right to display the final product in my portfolio and marketing materials.

  • Every project includes an in-depth discovery phase to make sure we're aligned on goals and expectations in addition to multiple rounds of revisions (if needed). Each revision will require your sign-off before continuing onto the next phase of the project. So when we finally reach the end of our time together, I’m confident you'll be itching to put your brand new look to work! But if, for any reason, you're not totally sold on the final product, let's chat about it and we’ll continue to fine-tune until your vision is realized at an additional hourly rate.

  • Every project has a different scope, goals, and requirements, so we don’t have one size-fits-all pricing.

That being said, we value transparency and don’t want to waste your time in your search for a design partner. Grab our Service Guide to see our baseline prices for each offering.

  • After signing off on our project proposal and contract, a 50% deposit of the total project fee will be due before work can start. Depending on the project scope and your budget, I can split the remaining amount into several milestone payments before handing over the final files. I accept payment through debit/credit card or ACH bank transfer.

  • I was hoping you’d ask! You can download our Service Guide, or head over to our Project Inquiry Form. Once you’ve submitted your inquiry form, you’ll have the option to schedule an intro call. After we chat and decide to move forward, I’ll shoot over a proposal and contract to start our adventure!
